Van Wyck vs. F train

Every morning on my way to work I feel like Elaine on Seinfeld when she was rushing to get rid of her gentleman visitor and get him to JFK. She was noting how she eased through traffic in Jerry's car, taking shortcuts, speeding, and cutting off other cars. She ends with,"and then, I hit, the Van Wyck. They say no one has ever beaten the Van Wyck."

This how I feel every morning when I think I'm early or even just on time. My quote would go something like this... 

"You should have seen me Jerry. I showered and dressed in 25 minutes flat. I fed the dog and the cat! I walked the dog this morning, number 1 and number 2. In 3 minutes we were back upstairs. Record time! Both elevators were working! And no nobody was in them! Neither one! It's like no one in the entire building was awake but me. Straight up, straight down, no stops! Like gravity. I got to the subway, the 1 train was there waiting for me to get on, defying me to be late this morning. Transfer to the downtown A? Seamless!  And then I got to the F train. They say no one has ever beaten the F train..."
