I'm no trendy trendsetting fashionista, but I do know fashion "don't" when I see one. It's amazing how many "don'ts" are embraced, accepted, perpetrated, and encouraged above 110th Street. Like if you look terrible in something you don't have to wear it just because its in style. High waisted bottoms, shorts, and the Lycra mini-dress ( aka sausage casing) are just a few examples.
