is she crazy? am i?

So I was out to lunch today with my family.  I missed watching the Giants win today but I guess it was for a good cause.  That aside, After eating I went with my sister to get the car that was parked about 5 blocks away so we could come back and get my mom.  As we were pulling up I felt the need to pee so I ran back in told my mom we were here with the car and ran to the single person female bathroom.  As I was pushing the door open this older 40-50 something woman with bush grayish-blond hair says, "oh wait!"  holding her hands flatly together in a prayer like formation as if to say please can I go first.  I turn around, look at her with my not yet patented, Candace heifer is you crazy? face on, and waited for about 3 seconds for her to regain her composure, and I can only assume also her sanity.  Then she laughed and said, "oh ha ha, never mind."  I said, "indeed," and added a "humphf" and laughed to myself as I turned around and went in the bathroom first.  Like, is she crazy? Really?  What in her mind made her think that because she was too slow to get to the bathroom ahead of me that I should stop and let her in first?  I didn't see her coming and really I grew up with the rule if you get there first, you're first, unless of course there is some overwhelming reason to do otherwise.  And just in case you are curious, THERE WASN"T!!!!! I happened to see her after she came out from using the men's room as she was instructed to do by the waitress nearby.  She returned to her seat.  So I must assume that privilege had gotten the best of this woman and she temporarily lost her mind.  But have to admit I don't know for sure because I didn't care enough to ask.
